Most manufacturers will void the warranty if you have a hardware issue and someone else works on the PC.  Software issues are not a problem since it does not involve opening the computer case.  If you have broadband internet service with "HOME NETWORKING" the ONLY networking the ISP will support is your Internet access, NOT a true "network" of your PC's.
